Anna Paquin And Drew Barrymore Are Pregnant

The stars are expecting.

True Blood stars, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting their first child together.

A close friend said, ‘They have already started telling friends and family. They are so excited and can’t wait,’

‘Anna is very happy that she is going to be a mom, and Stephen is extremely excited.

Paquin, 29, is said to be just over 12 weeks pregnant and is due in the fall. This couple has been married since August 2010 and the child will be the first for Paquin and the third for Moyer. This British star already has a son, Billy, 11, and a daughter, Lilac, 9, from his two previous relationships but he has never been married before.

Paquin and Moyer had been dating since the shooting session of the pilot episode of the vampire drama in 2007. On the show, this 29-year-old beauty, a 1994 Oscar winner for her role in The Piano at the age of 11, plays the psychic Sookie Stackhouse. This character is the mortal lover to a vampire Bill Compton, played by Moyer. Their first kiss was even documented onscreen. In real life, they got married under a white tent at a private residence across the street from Malibu beach on 21 August last year.

Their love is such a romance as Moyer proposed to Paquin, who was born in Canada and raised in New Zealand, on a beach in Hawaii. He presented her with a ring that he had designed with a jeweler Cathy Waterman.

When he was asked why he chose Hawaii, he answered, ‘There was a song in the first season, White Sandy Beach in Hawaii, which was kind of funny and ironic.’

‘(It) all started out as a joke and then we decided to go to Hawaii with my kids,’ the actor added.

So we can conclude that something that started from a joke can lead to such a happy ending!

And on the other side of town, Drew Barrymore is also sporting a bump.

The actress was spotted out furniture shopping with her fiancé Will Kopelman on Melrose Avenue.

The 37-year-old seemed eager to disguise her growing tummy and could be seen tugging away at her large top in an effort to obscure the obvious curve in her middle section.

Barrymore has been tight lipped about her pregnancy.

Drew has also been busy searching for office space for her movie production company Flower Films.

Is that a baby bump that we see?
