The Toxic singer has always had an issue with chewing her nails when she feels anxious and about four years ago she even vowed to quit the habit.

But it seems Spear’s new Boss, Simon Cowell, isn’t concerned and when asked by TMZ if he was worried about her appearing on live television, he said, ‘Not at all.’

Britney was joined at the event by her fiancé and former manager Jason Trawick, who was recently approved as her conservator alongside her father.

This means that he has legal authority over Britney’s general well-being, which includes decisions about food, clothing and medical care.

He will reportedly accompany Britney on set each day.

It has been said that Spears has negotiated a $15 million pay packet to be a judge on the show, but that fellow new recruit Demi Lovato is rumored to be earning just $1 million.

Britney and Demi will replace Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger alongside show boss Simon and music executive L.A. Reid.

In 2008, Ellen and Portia married in front of their mothers and 19 other guests at their Beverly Hills home. This marriage occurred during the five month period that same-sex marriage was legalized in the state of California.

Ellen took to her Twitter earlier this week to say, ‘Getting married was one of the greatest things I have ever done.’

She then expressed her delight during an episode of her talk show after President Barack Obama spoke out about his support of same-sex marriage.

The star said, ‘What an amazing day for our country. President Obama just came out in support of same-sex marriage. Wow. You know, there have been moments in history where somebody has had the courage to stand up for what they believe in and that one action changes everything.

‘And I hope that this is one of those times. It takes a brave man to take a stand like this, especially in an election year, so Mr President to you I say thank you very, very, very much.’

Menawhile, Ryan Seacrest has purchased a new home for himself too.

Blowing a cool $49million on his new pad, Ryan bought the house which was formerly owned by Ellen and Portia.

The 37-year-old is believed to earn $45m a year, with Ryan’s total worth equating to $125m.

It was recently revealed that Ryan is living with his girlfriend Julianne Hough, so now the two will clearly have loads of space.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Ryan originally attempted to sell his Hollywood Hills West estate in 2010 for $15m, before eventually shaking hands on a deal for $12m last month.

Meanwhile, Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner, threw a baby shower for her older daughter Kourtney Kardashian on Saturday.

She was assisted by party planner Sharon Sacks in organizing the bash for her 33-year-old daughter – who is expecting her second child, a girl, with partner Scott Disick.

The party was held at Jenner’s Californian home, with around 90 guests.

A source said, ‘Kourtney’s shower was so nice!. Her mom and sisters were there, of course.

‘They talked, laughed, and played games. There was a bar and lots of different types of foods and desserts, including sushi and little sandwiches. She seemed happy and excited earlier in the day before the shower.

‘There were about 90 people at 10 tables.’

The insider added to Life & Style magazine, ‘Flowers were blush-pink peonies, pink Dutch hydrangeas and garden sweet peas in pink-and-fuchsia containers. The theme was all pink and whites. Petals LA did the floral arrangements.

‘Lehr & Black did Kourtney’s shower invitations. They were beautiful.’

The source said, ‘Kourtney got lots of gifts from Bel Bambini.’

Another onlooker added, ‘Multiple women arrived bearing numerous gifts for Kourtney’s new baby. At one point, a Toyota van drove up to the property and numerous people rushed over to the car to help a blonde female carry a huge gift, in black-and-white wrapping paper and a big red bow, into the house.’

In true Kardashian-Jenner style, none of the guests left the party empty-handed.

And Ben Affleck has made sure to let his wife Jennifer Garner know just how much she is loved and appreciated on Mother’s Day.

The two have been married for seven years and they have three children together.

Actor Ben, 39, took to his Facebook page yesterday and paid tribute to his wife and praised her for being a ‘world-class mum’.

The hunky dad also thanked his own mother and said, ‘I just want to say Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums in my life.

‘My mum, Chris, and my amazing wife, Jennifer, who is an incredible, spectacular, world-class mum, and I want to thank her.’

Affleck also acknowledged African women in the video.

Ben founded the Eastern Congo Initiative in 2010 after visiting the war-torn region several times.

He added, ‘I want to say thank you to all the mums I’ve met in the Democratic Republic of Congo who are on this video.

‘I urge you to share it… to celebrate all the mums in the world working at the very hardest job there is every single day.’

A day after he posted the video, Ben was seen with his wife as they picked up their daughter Violet, six, from a karate class.

The family spent Mother’s Day with Jennifer’s mom Patricia, who is staying with her daughter for the weekend.

Nick and Sofia first met at a Golden Globes party. Loeb is the son of the Ambassador to Denmark during Reagan’s presidential government and also the grandson of the Leham brothers.

‘My schedule is jammed packed and I can’t fit anything else in. The press announced my possible attachment far too soon. Shane Black and everyone on the ‘IM3’ team are really wonderful. I’m very excited to see the film when it comes out.’

So now we can expect another gorgeous actress in the movie if the deal with Rebecca is made.  The Town star Hall is going to play a scientist in the movie that is developing a new but dangerous technology. Also, we will get to see the same big stars such as, Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce.

Kingsley has confirmed his involvement saying, ‘I’m in ‘Iron Man 3’. It’s official. That’s not for public knowledge …yet’.

The movie starts its production this month in North Carolina and later in China. The ‘Iron Man 3’ will hit the theaters on 3 May 2013.

It may seem a long way to go………. But we don’t mind the wait….

The actor is currently dealing with some legal issues as he has been sued for $2 million by a masseur. Travolta is accused of sexual assault during a massage session in January in a private bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The masseur filed the court papers last Friday claiming that the Pulp Fiction actor touched him inappropriately during the massage session such as rubbing his leg, touching his genitals and initiating a sex act. He then asked Travolta not to touch him again and tried to pull away. The masseur claimed to have some proof of his allegation despite the response from Travolta’s rep of denying the accusation.

‘This lawsuit is a complete fiction and fabrication’, Travolta’s side said.

‘On the date when the plaintiff claims John met him, John was not in California, and it can be proved that he was on the East Coast.’

Since the story broke, evidence has been released showing that John Travolta was in fact in New York at the time of the incident but the masseur is standing strong with his story.

The plaintiff claimed that Travolta had picked him up in a black Lexus SUV and took him to the hotel to have sex with him.

Travolta’s rep accused the masseur’s attorney, Okorie Okorocha, of trying to attract attention.

‘Plaintiff’s attorney has filed this suit to try and get his fifteen minutes of fame.’

Travolta’s side also threatened a counter-suit for malicious prosecution. The lawyer Okorocha insisted on having strong evidence for the case saying, ‘We approached them two months ago and never heard the defense he wasn’t in town.’

‘There are pictures of him in Los Angeles the night of the 14th.’

Indeed, there are apparently some photos of John at the 9th Annual G’Day USA black tie event in Hollywood at that time.

Okorocha seems to be very confident with his claim and challenged, ‘If he has evidence to prove he wasn’t in town, great, then he has nothing to worry about. But we believe we have enough of a story of when and where things happened that we can procure hotel and cell tower record.’

‘And I think there will be witnesses who saw things. This absolutely happened’, he added.

The interesting thing is that once this story broke, two other men have come forward with a case of sexual harassment against the Pulp Fiction actor.

Is it only a rumor?

Well…the answer is, it is no.

It is indeed true as these lovebirds walked the red carpet together in Beverly Hills.

The 41 year-old-actress seemed relaxed and close to Sambora while attending the Midnight Mission’s Golden Heart Award at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The 52-year-old rocker got honored by the Midnight Mission for his work in giving support and advocacy for the homeless in LA.

The Starship Troopers star was wearing a gold mini dress and red heels with her hair in a small bun. She looked stunning as usual especially with the happy look in her eyes.

When asked about her appearance that night, Richards spread her lovely smile and said, ‘This is a big night for Richie, so I’m here to support him. It’s really important work that he does.’

Her partner also tried to explain about their relationship, ‘We’re back on. It’s all good.’

Denise was previously married to Charlie Sheen but then got divorced in 2006 at almost the same time as Sambora split from his wife Heather Locklear. Richards and Sambora started to date in November but in January, they announced that they were only friends.

‘They had a moment a few months back when they were going to give it a go, but have decided they’re better as friends’, said a source.
