After seeing Jessica Simpson pregnant for what seemed an eternity, the star finally gave birth to a baby girl last month.
Until now we haven’t had the chance to see the new edition – Maxwell Drew Johnson.
But now Jessica has appeared on the cover of People magazine with her cute kid.
She is seen holding Maxwell and smiling with pride.

This is Jessica’s first child with fiancé Eric Johnson, and she told the publication that it has completely changed her life.
She said, ‘My life has completely changed. From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!’
‘We stare at her all the time. We can’t get enough!’
She said, ‘It’s the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her. I miss holding her and having that closeness.’
Maxwell weighed 9lb 13oz when she was born via Caesarean section on May 1, and she is seen on the mag cover dressed in a white dress and matching headband.
Jessica, 31, is also seen wearing a white nightdress style outfit as she cradles her child.
It was recently reported that the highly-anticipated first pictures of Maxwell were sold for $800,000.
This seems a lot less that what Jennifer Lopez got from People at $6 million for pictures of her twins Max and Emme.
The same publication reportedly gave Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt around $11million for the exclusive on their twins Vivienne and Knox,
