Joe Jonas Is All Grown Up For Mr Porter Photoshoot

He isn’t that young teenage boy no more.

Joe Jonas appears to have made the transition from cute to cool in these suave pictures for the menswear website Mr Porter.

The 21-year-old singer modeled for the luxury retailer as he promotes his first solo single.

This marks Joe’s break away from the comfort of his teen band The Jonas Brothers.

Joe wrote the song with Chris Brown, who was convicted of assaulting his pop star girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

Joe’s own love life has been the subject of much speculation since he was spotted with Marc Jacobs model Karlie Kloss this month at a charity polo event.

Jonas has also dated Twilight star Ashley Greene, his Camp Rock co-star Demi Lovato, 10,000 BC actress Camilla Belle and singer Taylor Swift in the last couple of years alone.

But the good looking guy insists he’s single.

He told Mr Porter’s magazine The Journal: ‘It’s nice to focus on one thing sometimes, and for now that’s my music.

‘It’s tough when you’re far away from someone for long periods of time and so when you’re single you don’t need to feel bad about that.

‘But, you’re always looking for the right person.’

When asked who his perfect person would be, Joe replied: ‘Hmm, that’s hard to say. I change my mind all the time; and if you do name someone it’s then awkward when you bump into them.’

He named the late Elizabeth Taylor as the most beautiful woman in the world.

In her heyday, she was amazing.’

Fans will be wondering whether Joe’ new song ‘See No More’ is a tribute to Ashley Green, whom he spit from last year.

The mid-tempo ballad is about the breakdown of a relationship.

‘It was an emotional, upsetting song to write,’ Joe said.

‘But I truly find music the easiest way through which to express my feelings. Releasing a song is a bit like handing your journal over for people to read.’

Joe described his upcoming album, Fast Life, due for release in September, as having a ‘more mature’ sound.

‘It’s fun; something you’d listen to when hanging out with your friends’.

He said his brothers and band mates Kevin, 23, and Nick, 18, encouraged the album.

‘It’s bizarre to think it’s all on me this time’

‘But the feedback from fans so far has been great. But it also helps that I have my brothers’ support. They understood that I wanted to do something on my own, and told me to take my time.’

One of the boys’ even surprised Joe when they had ‘See No More’ playing in their car while giving him a lift.

‘I didn’t even know he had a copy – he must have got it from the record company. Luckily, they really like it.’

The Jonas Brothers have enjoyed massive success since joining Hollywood Records in 2007. They have released four albums, starred in two Disney movies and had their own Disney TV show.

As well as music, Joe Jonas says he is a huge fan of fashion.

‘Over the past year I’ve got heavily into it. Whether I’m going out for the night, or during the day, I love putting on something that pops and makes you feel comfortable.”

His favorite brands include Simon Spurr, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Calvin Klein.

‘I’m a big shoe guy, too. I have far too many pairs. Whenever there’s a new style out, I’ll text my stylist: “Can we get a pair of those?”‘
